First steps back

This was bound to happen sooner or later but it still seems to catch you off guard.
Addison had to be put back on the ventilator. He was just getting tired and his breathing rate started to drop. He did well though for the few days he was on the cpap.
Both boys went back under the bili lights. We'll have to wait to get a picture of them without their masks but that's ok.
Ian and I found a store online that sells micro preemie clothes so we decided to buy a shirt for each of the boys. They won't be able to wear them as long as they have the lines in their belly buttons but we're sure the lines will be out before they outgrow these shirts.
We can't wait to get back in the morning to love on our little guys.

The fact he was tolerating CPAP so well is amazing! So he needs the vent...but he is able to handle CPAP for a bit! Incredible!

I'm so glad that the testing so far is perfect!

One day, one milestone, one moment at a time!

Hang in there. These are really minor setbacks if you think about it and maybe just an indication that they were being pushed a little too hard. Sounds like the doctors know exactly what they are doing and your babies are making progress. God Bless you all.
